At GFV Campus to Career, we strive to be a valued resource for career development professionals at higher education institutions, ensuring every student leaves with a personalized Roadmap to Success.
We accomplish this through partnerships with career development and ahtletic departments, providing comprehensive, industry-leading assessment tools to guide students, athletes, and veterans on their journey to meaningful and fulfilling career choices.
Our History
GFV Campus to Career was founded in 2015 to help athletes transition to a career after their playing days were over. After working with athletes for a number of years it became apparent that higher level institutions did not have the resources or manpower to help all students that required guidance in choosing a career path. The tools provided by GFV Campus to Career enables schools to help more students with their career choices without adding significant costs and manpower.
As I reflected on my own experience as a student and athlete, I realized much of my career progression after graduation was more by trial and error rather than a well thought out plan based on my unique profile. GFV Campus to Career was founded to address this issue and hopefully allow students, athletes, and veterans to identify their career path in a more organized, productive fashion.

"As an athlete, I was used to success. Team success. Individual success. Then it ended. I had four different majors in college, changed careers three times, and changed jobs eight times in my career. Every step of the way I achieved various degrees of failure and success but, every step of the way I learned something about myself, what I liked to do, the type of culture I liked to work in, and the type of people I liked to work with. It was through this journey that I became a successful business executive.
This got me thinking of ways to shortcut the journey and find out better ways to help students without going through the trial-and-error road I had to take. This led me to meet with a brilliant man, Herb Greenberg. Herb introduced me to the power of assessments and how he had used them to work with professional athletic teams and their players. I incorporated this into my own consulting work, and this has led to where GFV Campus to Career is today."
